Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023: As a Data Fiduciary, we protect your rights as a Data Principal. We enforce strict access controls and encryption for your files. Your health data is never shared with third-party advertisers or insurance providers.
Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020: All consultants are verified practitioners registered with the National Medical Commission or State Medical Councils. Their interactions and opinion reports follow the professional and ethical protocols mandated under the Guidelines.
Your rights
You hold full ownership of your data and may exercise these rights at any time:
- — Right to Access: request a copy of all health data we hold about you
- — Right to Correction and Erasure: ask us to correct inaccuracies or delete your records
- — Right to Grieve: contact our Grievance Officer if you feel your data has been mishandled
Data retention
Medical documents, reports, and files uploaded by patients are stored securely and deleted permanently after 30 days from the date of upload. The clinical opinion prepared by your consulting physician is retained in Curaview Health's secure clinical records system in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 and India's DPDP Act, 2023. To request early deletion of your clinical opinion record, contact our Grievance Officer.
